FranceAgriMer selected F&S for an evaluation of technical and financial costs borne by Producers Organisations during storage operations considered under the new CMO Regulation. The results of this work will be utilised by the French Authorities to set the level of the storage aids that will be paid to producers under the framework of the financial instrument EMFF.
The method employed to carry out this evaluation relies on consultation of Producers Organisations grouping fishermen of the different sea basins, and on surveys of service providers concerned with storage (transport, cold storage, processing). This evaluation will be completed early 2015.
