Study on the impacts of the Brexit on the fishing opportunities available for EU fishing vessels

The EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) foresees gradual transfers of quota from the EU to the UK, as well as rules governing the issuance of fishing authorisations for access of EU vessels to the UK fishing zones. The study prepared at the request of the PECH Committee of the European Parliament aims at quantifying the impacts of the TCA on fishing opportunities at EU level, with an in-depth review for two of the EU Member States the most affected: France and the Netherlands.
